Wonderful location and food. I had the chicken pie, brocoli sides and rice pudding. The pie was obviously really light (dough was flacky) and inside light. Chicken was really good. The best was my rice pudding. Creative, tasty mixing sweet and sour. Just loved it!

was famished after exploring daunt books at cheapside so decided to have pie for dinner. the walk was rewarding because we ended up at a proper pie eatery. a very fancy, upscale restaurant - didn't realise this when we were searching for dinner options. great ambience with warm lighting. tried the chicken and beef pies along with broccoli on the side. they were very inviting and palatable. you can ask for bread (4) while waiting for the pies to be served. while it states that waiting time is up to 30 mins, our pies came less than 10mins after our orders. just a note to use the main door which is located at the entrance of the building (as shown in the photo) we almost used the side door which displays the kitchen.

By accident, ended up at the same restaurant and same server 2 nights in a row @Pie Room on High Holden, London. Lucia was fantastic, and our party of 4 became fast friends with her Monday night, and then tonight our CEO had booked the same restaurant (unknowingly) for our business party of 10, and fortunately she was our server again. Amazing savory pies, cheeses and red wine. A must stop on London - be sure to ask for Lucia and tell her I said hi! Be sure to try one of their 300 gins.

It doesn't get more British than eating a meat pie. I know this one is not from a corner pub, but you'll never regret trying it. The Pie Room is located in the Holborn Dining Room in the well-known Rosewood Hotel serving modern British flavors. The pies are handmade by pastry experts who welcomed me into their gorgeous space. An unforgettable experience if you're visiting London! What we ate: • Chicken Pie with chestnut mushrooms, leek fondue, tarragon, and garden peas • Braised Beef Steak Pie with blue cheese and peppercorn • British Cheese Selection

Came in without a reservation (and not a hotel guest) took a bit of time to be seated but we got a table. Service was very friendly. Seating was comfortable and the space is really nice. We both order pies and we’re not disappointed by the namesake. Very flavorful and cooked to be flaky but not overly done. Very much recommend for a great traditional meat pie!

This place is FANTASTIC!!! My new favourite restaurant. If you don't like pies they have a full menu of other options. Not only is the room beautifully decorated, the servers are as well. They wear a uniform of a wonderful plaid design and black top. The service is very welcoming and professional, the lighting is spot on, and the food is really a cut above. I had the beef cheek suet pudding and it was the best I've ever had. My husband's pork pie and side of mash was equally marvellous. While the prices are higher than your average restaurant they are not scary, and well worth it. At night there is a private room that seats about 6-8 that's really attractive - it's the room where they actually make the pies during the day. It was my husband's birthday and they brought him the most delicious chocolate bombe - so thoughtful (see picture below).

Ordered via Pie Hole for takeaway The young kid was great, friendly and accommodating, came here twice and was served by him. Baked goods are my weakness and found out their sausage rolls were available, meaty and juice with flakey pastry. You gotta have tomato sauce with your pies/sausage rolls.

The second time I was in the Pie Room. Wonderful service and highly recommend anyone who wants to have decent British pies. You can ask the waiter if you can visit the pie making room. The chefs were very friendly to show us what they were doing. Amazing concept. The only downside is the restroom is outside the restaurant. You have to go out first and downstairs, I suppose it is part of the hotel restroom.
